This block of flats is located in Scandicci (Florence, Italy). The building consists of 16 flats.
The existing technical room contained one boiler that generated a total power of 200kW for heating production. 16 water heaters were used to produce DHW in each flat.
E.GEO has installed a multi-source geothermal system. 180kW of geothermal energy are generated by one WBT 60G (manufactured by Teon) fed by eight 120m deep double-U vertical geothermal probes and two WBT 60A fed by a dedicated dry cooler. In addition, an EIFS has been installed and doors and windows have been replaced.
